This page is for all the animals that have escaped their enclosure, were recovered safely, and returned to their homes.

Mac (left) & his friend (right) were found walking on the highway by a sweet family who held them in their fenced yard and reached out to us about coming to scan them in hopes of a microchip. Thankfully Mac had a microchip and with the help of HomeAgain & Sale Creek Veterinary Services we were able to get them both back to their owners within 72 hours of them being found!

Even though Mac and his friend both had collars on, without the Microchip in Mac we would not have been able to get them home. Please check with your local animal vet or animal shelter about having your pet(s) microchipped, they really do help in reuniting you with your furry friend in the event they get loose.

BAFR may have assisted but the family who found them and kept them safe are the true MVP’s in this story, without their caring hearts keeping them safe and putting in the leg work to search for their owner, these two pups may not have been able to get back to their family safely!
