Description: Slim was rescued from Sexton’s Horse & Mule Pen in Sneedville, TN. Sexton’s is a known Kill Pen/Shipper in the state. We were able to rescue Slim with the help of a local Arabian group who helped us fundraise his bail amount. We only had 20 minutes before the truck left to be able to save this boy.

Slim is very timid and shy. He currently is not rideable, and still very scared to be handled by humans. Slim is going to Willow Brook Performance Horses in Alabama to finish his rehabilitation out where he will get the training and reassurance needed to get him ready for adoption. While we do not put a time limit on rehabilitation for any horse, we believe he will be ready for adoption in thirty – sixty (30-60) days after arriving in Alabama. We will post an update on here when he has completed his training at Willow Brook.
